An Outdoor Treasure Hunt

The other day, after a couple hours at the pool, we went with Erin, Jillian, Lizzy, and Jen to letterbox around town. Letterboxing is basically an outdoor treasure hunt combined with clues and rubber stamps. We hit 5 different sites. It was the perfect activity for the range of ages we had. It was such a blast!

An old pioneer cemetery.

Pioneer murals.
A pioneer grave site.

The downside of letterboxing with a three year old: ink is too much fun for just paper.

What a fun idea! Takes some thought and creativity on your part. My kids would LOVE it if I would do something like this.
