This week is a start of new jobs for Matt and I. He is still training horses but he will now be training and showing two horses for a couple and their neighbor, Wayne who is 1/2 owner of one of the horses. He will be traveling over everyday to their homes for a while (about 25 miles away) so that Wayne can show and help Matt learn exactly what he wants from him. Wayne is very knowledgeable about the horse world and has done it all. He knows his stuff! The couple own the chain of D&B stores. They are all really nice people. We are very excited for this opportunity and thankful to our friend Betty who gave them Matt's name and for Janet for believing in us to do this even though Matt has never shown before. The great thing about all this besides learning something new is that he will continue to ride these two horses every month and can take them very far in their training. I also start a new job this week. I will continue to be 1/2 time in the 1st grade in the afternoons, but I will also be teaching two history classes at the high school in the mornings. I will have the sophomores and freshmen and will teach World History and U.S. History. I will have my cousin Jeremy in class! I will be teaching about 5/6th of the time and will have an hour at home with just Mylie and I before I go to work (because Mesa will be in Kindergarten). It will be a new adventure that is for sure. I have a lot to learn about teaching high schoolers! If you think about it, say an extra prayer or two for the adjustments in our life the next couple of weeks.
