I have a cute little story about Mylie. Tonight we went grocery shopping and to make it more fun we decided to go to Taco Del Mar because the girls like to sit under the little grass umbrella. Of course, purposefully Mylie stepped on Mesa in the booth. Of course, Mesa whined about it because I'm sure it hurt. Of course, Mylie was getting a small chewing from Matt. During the conversation Matt jokingly said, "Mesa ought to punch your lights out. Would you like that?" Mylie quickly responded with, "NOOOO! Leave them on!" (talking about her lights!) Of course, we all busted up laughing.
Tomorrow is the 4th and we will be going to our small town for a patriotic breakfast put on by one of the churches and then Matt will be competing in the walking horse race in the morning (yes I said walking, if the horse breaks a walk you lose). Matt is going to use our neighbor's Tennessee Walker this year. Alkali Beauty has placed every year she's been in it, but she can never beat that Tennessee Walker that wins every year. Isn't he competitive? We might catch the duck race where they throw rubber ducks down the river and there is prize money involved for the winners and losers. Then we'll enjoy some homemade ice cream at my moms in the afternoon and THEN it is off to the demolition derby for the amusement of crashing cars. What a day we have planned... What fun events did you and your family do for the 4th?

Happy 4th to you! Sounds like a whirlwind of a day for you guys! We are keeping it fairly mellow. We'll swim this afternoon, of course, then it's off to our friend Mario's for BBQ and fireworks. Can you believe that 12 years ago today, James and I met? I told you there were fireworks the day we met! Hahahah... love you guys, and all the fabulous new pics! Happy day to you all.
Hey Kerry-Last night as we were watching the fireworks I thought, "oh yeah- today is the day James and Kerry met." I don't think I can go through a 4th of July without thinking of you. AND I think of you two on Flag Day (June 14th!) because that is the day you got married. You are SOOO patriotic. HA. Hope your BBQ was fun.
I love you Kels! That is so cool you guys won the wheelbarrow race! We had fun too, watching fireworks and setting off some of our own. The boys were really into it this year, although Jackson still plugs his ears during the big show! And yes, James and I are very patriotic, I guess! Have a good weekend.
