After talking with Hayley on the phone, I realized I never updated you all on the progress of our house. So here are a few picturesof our house this summer. We still have a few more major projects to do: real landscaping, trim around the windows and to seperate the two colors, shelter for the horses, back pasture, and eventually overhang porches. Maybe next year? (I think I'm dreaming!)
This is the backside of the house. This side faces the arena and the hills. It is the garage, diningroom, kitchen, and our bedroom.
Our back "lawn" (more like weeds!) and view out the back sliding glass door. The arena is right behind our house, right where the grass stops. The girls' playhouse and swing set are just to the right, but not pictured.
The view of our place from the top of the hill. It is in a rectangle between the two fields. You can't see the back pasture or the front pasture in these pictures. You can see the arena, round pen, and the corrals.
Finally, the front of the house. Mesa and I planted a lot of tulips so this spring it should look more like home. We've added pea gravel for our temporary sidewalks since this picture...and a few more flowers.
Now you've seen our simple little country home!

Wow! The house looks great! I know how you feel about getting the yard done, but mine is like a fraction of what you guys have! Good luck.

Thanks for posting the pics. i love to see the country life if you know what i mean. The place looks great hopefuly this summer we can get up there. looks like you guys have been woking hard. well AJ comes in to vegas tonight so i will go and pick him up and spend so time together. Wish you were here toooooo .... love ya
