When I Grow Up I Want To Be....

Earlier this week, the girls and I were taking a break and were just hanging out on the couch for a few minutes. Mesa and I were having the conversation of what job she'll have when she grows up. She usually tells me she's going to be a nurse, but today she said, "I want to be a nurse, vet, horse trainer, and a nail polish girl." "Wow you will be busy," I told her. Then it dawned on me I had never asked Mylie what she wants to be when she grows up. So I asked her. She thought extremely hard and after a very long pause she replied with excitement, "I WANT TO BE MESA!" Mesa and I laughed at her. I remember when I was about Mesa's age I wanted to be a veterinarian, a cowgirl, or a teacher. Well, 1 out of 3 isn't bad. I came close to the other two: I married a cowboy, and we have a lot of animals. What did you want to be when you were little? an astronaut? president? or a "polish" girl(--I think the title is nail technician)?

I wanted to be a dog washer when I grew up! Then I wanted to be a doctor. Finally, I wanted to be a mom, and bingo!!! That is so cute that Mylie said Mesa. I love those moments. Hey, I sent your b-day card to your old address because you still have called me back!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you get it. Love you!
