So my 32nd birthday was today. Guess what I did? I didn't go to work, I got to take two naps, laid in bed ALL day, and Matt cooked me breakfast and lunch AND catered to my every need. What a great guy!
That is seriously the truth, but you should all know I had a HUGE migrane headache last night and all day today. It was HORRIBLE. It was up there as one of my top five worst migranes. I felt guilty all day for not helping Mesa with her homework the night before (which didn't get done), dressing Mylie with my eyes half shut this morning (the light hurt too bad), and missing work. Once I got over the fact I was too sick for work and Liz could take the 1st graders in the afternoon, I started feeling guilty for not getting laundry done and bills paid. I guess even when we don't feel good we still like to be in control and then feel guilty when we can't be.
I DID, however, make frozen pizza and chopped up some apples for my birthday dinner. Mesa told me I am the best cook! HA. So easy to please. My mom and the girls frosted me some cupcakes and we ate them tonight. (We had already celebrated my dad and I's birthday on Saturday.) I have the best mom in the whole world. She's so good to my girls and to me. I was feeling pretty good by desert time tonight until my mom told the girls to put at least THREE candles in each cupcake. Then I felt horrible again--I am getting old! I noticed four cupcakes only had two candles in them so it could have been worse. No, I am okay with being a year older. It means I am also a year wiser!

I repeat this over and over again...there are advantages to age. We can discuss that one in a later posting...
Happy Birthday! Sorry about the migrane.
Happy Birthday....if you ever need sympathy for migraines come my way. I have to endure them all too often and there is nothing worse then one on your birthday. I do love the birthday dinner...even better that Mesa thought you were a great cook- nothing better then being a great cook for someone:)
