Report Card Time!

Mesa got her report card on Friday. She's doing well in school. I wanted to be a bragging mother and quote what her teacher said on her report card, "Mesa is a marvel and my right hand teacher aid that I can trust to understand and do a model job. She is well liked by the class. Her reserved nature doesn't seem to hinder her progress and I appreciate that she can be nurse, teacher, and mother when needed." Evidently, Mesa had some band-aids in her pencil box at school and would give them out as needed and is always helping kids when they are hurt or behind in their work. Mesa has a shy nature about her when it comes to groups but is very "at home" in her classroom and with her classmates. We appreciate all that Mrs. Ellsworth is teaching Mesa educationally and socially! Along with learning many, many things all day, they also play a lot and read tons of books. Just what kindergarten should be. I asked Mesa what her favorite thing about Kindergarten was. She said to me, "loving people, the kitchen, the "Letter People" (their reading program), and the legos!"
